BROOKLYN BRIDGE An engineering marvel of the pre-war world, the Brooklyn Bridge has stood the test of time for well over 300 years, though barely. It remains suspended due to its ingenious system, but parts of the bridge's architecture have broken away and fallen into the East River below. One of the major entryways into lower Manhattan, the Brooklyn side of the bridge is spotted with SHIELD guard patrols, but their jurisdiction ends long before the raider outposts and strung-up corpses begin to appear as one journeys into the warzone proper. When humanity returned to the ruins of Empire City, Coney Island was initially the southern hub of raider activity, SHIELD soon liberated it, establishing their base camp nearby, leaving the neighbourhood long-since deserted. BROOKLYN HEIGHTS One of the more affluent neighbourhoods in the borough prior to the Great War, Brooklyn Heights' proximity to Brooklyn Bridge and the surplus of supplies there have lead to it being one of the more densely-populated areas of raider activity, constant fringe skirmishes with SHIELD occurring as one approaches from the south.
