[attr="class","dupertext"]HIVE-MIND The Stepford Cuckoos, while capable of individual thought and personalities, operate under a telepathic hive mind. They share thoughts and intelligence, effectively making each triplet, as their nickname states, a three-in-one mind. This link is stronger the closer the girls are to each other, and a single personality does have the capability to take dominance in the link. All of their abilities are far more powerful when they are together.

TELEPATHY The Cuckoos can read minds and project their thoughts into the heads of others. Additionally, they can block other telepaths from their own minds, given they are together.

TELEPATHIC ILLUSION The Three-in-One can create powerful and realistic psychic illusions and cause people to experience events that are not actually occurring. This is perhaps their most feared ability, though it does little physical harm.

MIND ALTERATION The Cuckoos are able to erase their own memories, making it difficult to find out details from their past, and allowing them to reduce mental trauma. Additionally, they can restore the memories of others, and can even transfer knowledge to others.

PSIONIC TRACKING The triplets can sense the thought patterns of other living beings, effectively allowing them to track others for a short radius around them.

MENTAL SHOCK The Stepford Cuckoos can harness psychic energy to target one's nervous system,s ending a direct physical and mental shock to their brain. This often results in temporary paralysis of part of the victim's body. Though it can be permanent or even fatal, the chances of that are low.

PHOENIX FORCE TAP The Cuckoos hold a small fragment of the legendary and feared cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force inside of their bodies. When they get particularly angry or out of control, these shards tend to activate and take over the hive mind, syncing the sisters in perfect harmony, if not somewhat brainwashing them. The Phoenix Force is a violent and unstable individual, and under this state, the Three-in-One is just as likely to decimate allies as they are enemies. During this state, the triplets gain the power of Flight and Pyrokinesis (the creation of and projection of fire), along with greatly enhanced psychic abilities. While Phoenix Force Tap is activate, the Stepford Cuckoos have a power level of 9.

SCIENCE The triplets are fairly intelligent, having access to the mental capacity of three minds at any one time. They are fairly capable with working with old world technology and sciences.



RADIATION SUITS Though they never wear them in preference of more aesthetically pleasing clothing, they triplets do have access to a few state-of-the-art radiation protection suits for traveling long distances out in the Empire Wasteland.

.9MM PISTOLS More of a backup plan than anything else. They are what they are - the most basic firearm and perhaps the most common in the entire world at this point in time, a set of .9MM glock pistols.

PRE-WAR CLOTHING The triplets have access to a large wardrobe of pre-war clothing, as they collect it. They have taken particular fondness to a set of old world uniforms they found on a liberation of a old catholic school from a tribe of raiders. While not protective at all, it does help them fit into the "higher classes" of the wasteland easier.



IN THE FAR OFF LAND OF THE COMMONWEALTH an unnamed group of scientists lead by an even more illusive man created a program known as Weapon Plus. This program gave birth to several artificial mutants, superhumans, and their goal was to slay other natural born mutants. An idea of human supremacy. It would be safe to say the project was a relatively large failure, considering none of the mutants created by it ended up abiding by the program's agenda.

Celeste, Irma, and Phoebe Cuckoo were a part of this program, codename Weapon XIV, the Three-in-One, or formerly, the Five-in-One. Originally, there were hundreds of clones, though only five were given life. They were designed to be a weapon that, when working together, could track and take out other mutants and super-mutants, as were all created by the Weapon Plus program.

The fatal mistake in their design was that they were born with free will, and of course found it ridiculous to hunt and destroy their own kind. They fled from the facility in the Commonwealth, though two of the sisters died in the conflict, turning the quintuplets to triplets.

For a time they wandered the wastes without a home or a cause. They were young, but powerful, and more than capable of handing a few feral ghouls or a band of drugged up raiders here and there. The Cuckoos grew confident in their abilities, even to the point of cockiness, believing very little could stop them.

This ego was only filled more-so after an unknown event in the New York coast caused the cosmic entity known as the Phoenix to split apart three fragments, fragments which found themselves to the triplets due to their natural attraction to powerful psychic links. This fusion enhanced their personalities to say the very least, sending them on a fairly reckless campaign to the source of the broken fire bird.

This eventually led them to Jean Grey, and ultimately the X-Men. After a brief skirmish with the group, the Cuckoos found themselves defeated for one of the first times in their history. The organization offered to take them in rather than finish them off, an act of kindness that the triplets took without too much hesitation.

They seem to hold the X-Men in high regard, though they constantly block their thought processes from being read by Professor X and other telepaths in the organization, giving them a slight air of suspicion...
